Using typed answers

Typed answers are available when speech capture needs help after microphone access fails.

Type the answer you want ACT to assess, then save it to continue.

The report uses the typed response in the same preparation-only way as a spoken answer transcript.

Once you save a detailed typed answer, the practice credit remains used because ACT has enough detail to continue the interview and prepare useful feedback.

Use this fallback when microphone access is blocked or cannot be fixed for the current practice.
